Discoveries of Future Dimensions

The result of this fusion will be interesting. The mind-scientist when using his powers of prevision will be able to indicate to both scientist and artist the trend of evolution, and the discoveries and events to anticipate.

By this means the scientist of the future will already know what he is going to discover, he will know what to look for and expect, and he will be saved a vast amount of time and labor and lack of recognition. The artist also will be given inspiring visions for his works of art and will thus be enabled to give forth impelling messages to the public.

Scientists will be drawn together (for the same reason that the threads in a spider’s web converge to a centre—their ultimate goal is identical) to uncover the forces and the secrets of the fifth dimension. This will be determined through various types of meditation, such as Zen meditation or other forms of spiritual meditation.

Their approach to this is bound to be along the avenues of radiation, because it is the fourth dimension which links the third to the fifth. Men have only touched the fringe of the colossal world of radiations, a world in which our earth swings like a little pellet, influenced by the millions of rays of all kinds and sizes which play through it.

Each time the scientist isolates, studies and uses a fresh radiation he opens up new possibilities, new discoveries and new inventions, any of which may have a profound effect upon the lives of his fellow-men.The vista which stretches before us into the future shows the most amazing new world being rapidly opened up by the scientists, and an array of discoveries which changes life like a fairy-tale. New technologies concerning meditation such as neurofeedback and biofeedback are arising.

Indeed, that is a good simile, because the coming age is nothing if it is not an age of Magic! We know that Magic is supposed to be a power that man wields in his own person, over forces which are behind physical manifestation. The greatest of the coming changes will be in man himself. In a world where radiations reign he will begin to use his own instrument for their control—the mind!

The results of this will be almost beyond our present powers of understanding, so we must go slowly. Where shall we begin in our enumeration of coming wonders? Many of them are not so much new inventions as further developments of existing ones. In photography, for instance, a more delicate lens and developing medium will be invented, with which strange and inexplicable pictures will be taken.

By the time this invention is perfected it will be known that photographs are being obtained of ‘non-solid’ life, of innumerable strange phenomena all inextricably mixed, which are held in the ether. If this were to be combined with mindfulness meditation or Buddhist meditation and breathing exercises it could prove to have a lot of potential.

A vast amount of trouble and controversy will go on over these strange impressions, which will, of course, be claimed by spiritualists as their perquisite and proof. The scientists will insist that they are purely ’scientific.’ At last a system will be perfected by means of which lenses are tuned to a variety of vibrations, and then the fact of the different ethers and their contents will become established.
